Whipped Feta Pizza

This whipped feta pizza is a great weeknight dinner that your whole family is going to love. It comes together quickly and tastes way better than takeout pizza.

What is feta?

Feta is a greek cheese that is commonly made from a combination of sheep and goat milk. The cheese curd is brined and pressed into blocks. Feta has a salty sweet flavor profile with a hint of sourness.

Because it is made from sheep and / or goat milk, feta is healthier than cheeses made from cows milk. It carries a significant amount of protein, calcium, and vitamin B. As a result of the brining process, it is also filled with probiotics that support healthy gut health.

The beauty of this recipe is that it can be ok to consume for people who are allergic to cow’s milk! In fact, many people who are lactose intolerant have an easier time processing feta cheese. If you have a severe dairy allergy, though, be sure to check with your doctor before diving into this recipe!

What do you need to make whipped feta?

Our favorite part about making whipped feta is just how easy it is to make. If you haven’t tried to make it yet, now is the time! We are confident you are going to become as obsessed with it as we are.

All you need is a food processor to whip up this incredible spread. Truly, that’s it! A food processor is such a versatile kitchen appliance. From chopping and grinding to pulsing this creamy feta together, it can really do anything.

We like to use a food processor to make whipped feta over a blender because it combines all of the ingredients while aerating them. That is what gives the whipped feta it’s signature texture.
