The Best No-Bake Oreo Pie Recipe

Have you ever been to the popular Baker’s Square restaurant? If not, you’re missing out!

They’re known around the U.S. for their incredible pies. In fact, their Oreo pie was the inspiration for this recipe.

Unfortunately, the restaurant no longer sells this special treat. So, when we couldn’t stop craving it, we knew we had to make it ourselves!

After a few tests in the kitchen, we nailed the taste and were super happy to learn that the infamous Oreo pie recipe was actually really simple to recreate.

This homemade no-bake Oreo pie is:

  • Made with less than ten ingredients
  • Created with minimal prep time and zero baking
  • Great to make ahead of time
  • A crowd-pleasing treat for every occasion!

What Is Oreo Pie Made Of?

It’s crazy to think that something so simple can be so tasty, but it’s true! This Oreo pie recipe comes together with just eight simple ingredients.

  • Heavy Cream – Heavy cream creates the filling for the pie and is crucial for creating stiff peaks and a fluffy texture.
  • Cream Cheese – Cream cheese is used to add a tangy flavor that balances out the sweetness of the other ingredients. For the best results, use a full-fat version and not the stuff from the tub!
  • Powdered Sugar – Acting as a stabilizer for the filling, powdered sugar also contributes to the extra sweet taste classic Oreo pie is known for.
  • Vanilla Extract – Vanilla extract accentuates the other flavors, enhancing the taste of your pie.
  • Salted Butter – Salted butter helps hold the cookie crust together while creating a rich taste.
  • Oreo Cookies – The key component of this dish, Oreos are used in every part of this pie!
  • Whipped Cream – The perfect topping, we love to add a big squirt of whipped cream on top to make this Oreo pie extra fluffy and delicious.

Combine, Layer, Chill: How to Make an Easy Oreo Pie Recipe with Zero Baking

The key to creating the best Oreo pie is to let it sit overnight. So, be sure to plan ahead!

Form the Crust

  1. Add the Oreo cookies and melted butter to the bowl of a food processor
  2. Pulse until fine crumbs form.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a pie dish, pressing it down tightly with your hands.
  4. Place the pie crust in the fridge

Create the Filling

  1. Add the heavy cream, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to the bowl of a stand mixer (or use a large mixing bowl and a hand mixer).
  2. Beat on low until the ingredients are well combined.
  3. Gradually increase the speed to high, beating until stiff peaks form.
  4. Fold in the mini Oreos.

Assemble the Oreo Pie

  1. Pour the fluffy pie filling into the prepared crust.
  2. Use an offset spatula to smooth out the top
  3. Cover with plastic wrap, and transfer the pie to the fridge.

Tips for the Best Pie

Honestly, this recipe is pretty much failproof. However, we do have a few tips and tricks to make it even easier to create!

  • Use Hot Water. For easy slicing, run your knife under hot water before dipping it into your pie. This prevents it from clinging to the filling so you can create smooth, clean cuts!
  • Soften the Cream Cheese. Let your cream cheese sit out and come to room temperature before combining the ingredients. This allows for easier mixing! Or, if you forget, heating it in the microwave for about 20 seconds at 50% power should do the trick.
  • Splurge a Little! For the best flavor, you’ll want to use real vanilla extract instead of imitation varieties. Trust us. You can taste the difference.
  • Use the Whole Oreo. Some people think you need to remove the creme filling before making the crust, but this isn’t necessary.
  • Crush the Ingredients By Hand. If you don’t have a food processor, you can add the Oreos to a ziplock bag and use a rolling pin to crush them yourself. You’ll just want to make sure to get the pieces as fine as you possibly can.
  • Use a Mug. Press the crust mixture into your pie pan with a mug to ensure it’s nice and compact and to prevent it from getting all over your hands.

Can I Make a No-Bake Oreo Pie Ahead of Time?

Like our no-bake chocolate peanut butter pie and this Billy Miner cookie ice cream pie, this easy Oreo pie needs plenty of time to chill, it’s ideal for prepping in advance!

  • Prepare the pie up to two days in advance. Then, loosely cover and store it in the fridge. Add your toppings just before serving.
  • Or, make the crust up to two days ahead of time, and store it covered in the fridge before adding the fillings and toppings.

How to Store and Freeze

Once your homemade Oreo pie is assembled, leftovers can be stored in the fridge or freezer to enjoy later.

  • To Store: Cover leftovers, and keep them stored in the refrigerator for up to five days.
To Freeze: Wrap your pie with plastic wrap followed by tin foil to prevent freezer burn. Then, transfer it to the freezer, and keep it frozen for up to three months
  • To Eat: Let your Oreo pie thaw in the fridge overnight, and enjoy cold!

The Baker Square franchise is such a nostalgic place for me! Went there all the time growing up, and my favorite pie was this Oreo Cream. I don’t live near Baker Square anymore, so was really excited to see all the love for this recipe that is so special to me. I made it and it turned out SOOO GOOD!!! I put extra Oreos through the food processor and mixed them through the pie, like A LOT, but without the extras it didn’t seem Oreo enough if that makes sense lol turned out just like the pie I knew and loved growing up! 😍

  2. Planning to make this for a Friendsgiving! Could you give measurement for heavy cream? It is mentioned in the directions but not in the ingredients. Thank you!
