S’mores Roll Ups

We’re sharing a recipe for S’mores roll ups, which takes all the fun of a traditional s’more but makes it super easy to make at home! We think you and your family will absolutely adore this recipe, and we can’t wait to hear all about it!
History of S’mores
S’mores have been around since at least the 1920s in America. It started out as a popular snack for Boy and Girl Scouts, and was first published in a cookbook in 1927. Over the past century, s’mores have become ubiquitous around the country with camping and cookouts.
In a fun twist, the tasty treat was initially called “Some More” because it was meant to feed at least 16 Girl Scouts, and it wasn’t until the 1970s that official Girl Scout literature shortened to the common name “S’more” that we know and love now!
Why we love S’mores Roll Ups
This is such a simple but completely satisfying sweet treat! Instead of toasted marshmallows we use marshmallow fluff. Using marshmallow fluff makes this the easiest recipe because it is spreadable! We love to use mini chocolate chips because we find that they melt very well making the chocolate easy to spread.
We love this recipe because it’s fast, easy, and delicious. This is a kid-friendly recipe perfect for days when it simply isn’t feasible to find a bonfire.

What kind of equipment do I need
Like most of our crossover recipes, this one is straightforward and simple. You really just need one piece of equipment, and it’s our very favorite: the air fryer. If you are missing one, or don’t have either, worry not! You can easily bake this in the oven for about 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Keep a close eye toward the last couple minutes to make sure you get the perfect golden brown crust without burning.
But back to our love of our air fryer!! It uses convection air circulation to cook food quickly without needing oil. This cooking method is quick with limited mess, and it makes for a healthy alternative to fried food. That way you can have all the flavor, but without sacrificing your health. Air fryers are a super handy, semi-portable convection oven that sits on a countertop and circulates hot air across the food in a basket!
