S’mores Roll Ups

Today’s recipe is such a delightful throwback to summer camping trips or nighttime bonfire parties — it’s ooey, gooey, chocolatey goodness.

We’re sharing a recipe for S’mores roll ups, which takes all the fun of a traditional s’more but makes it super easy to make at home! We think you and your family will absolutely adore this recipe, and we can’t wait to hear all about it!

History of S’mores

S’mores have been around since at least the 1920s in America, a popular snack for Boy and Girl Scouts that was published in a cookbook in 1927 and now is ubiquitous around the country with camping and cookouts.

In a fun twist, the tasty treat was initially called “Some More” because it was meant to feed at least 16 Girl Scouts, and it wasn’t until the 1970s that official Girl Scout literature shortened to the common name “S’more” that we know and love now!

Why we love S’mores Roll Ups

This is such a simple but completely satisfying sweet treat! Instead of toasted marshmallows we use fluff, because while it keeps the same sugary sweet taste of marshmallows, it’s actually spreadable. We love the mini chocolate chips we use and how delectably they melt and spread over the bread.

We love this recipe because it’s fast, easy, and delicious. This is an exceedingly kid-friendly recipe while being perfect for days when it simply isn’t feasible to find a bonfire, but you still want those vibes!

What kind of equipment do I need

For this recipe, we’re using an air fryer. Air fryers are a super handy, semi-portable convection oven that sits on a countertop and circulates hot air across the food in a basket.

Rather than frying with oil, it cooks them fast and to a delightful crisp.

How to make S’mores Roll Ups
