Undecided on whether to use a grill or oven for chicken skewers?
We love a solid night out in the backyard grilling. The flavors, sounds and smells all make for the best night! You can totally throw these chicken skewers on the grill if that’s your preferred method of cooking.
Personally, we love to bring the nostalgia and flavors of grilling inside! It makes it much easier to cook (and clean) when you make chicken skewers in your oven.
The magic marinade for our oven-baked chicken skewers
We hinted at this in the beginning of this recipe, but we have a secret weapon that makes this recipe even simpler than our usual ones! Instead of making our marinade from scratch, we use Bitchin Sauce for our marinade. It saves a ton of time, AND its delish!
Bitchin Sauce is a nut-based sauce, first created in San Diego by a husband and wife team. Not only are these sauces vegan, but they are gluten free and allergen friendly as well! Bitchin Sauce is high in protein making it super healthy for you!
We use the Chipotle variety in this recipe, and absolutely love the little kick of heat it adds to the dish. This zesty sauce paired with the chicken and grilled veggies is an unbeatable combination that’s sure to delight.
