If you have had feta before, then you can probably imagine what this tastes like. The tangy and slightly salty flavors of the feta are the hero of this recipe. The strong flavor of the feta is enhanced by the nuttiness of the sesame seeds and counteracted by the sweetness of the honey. Plus, the crunchy sesame crusted feta cubes are creamy on the inside, crunchy on the outside, which is such a fun texture combination. Overall, this recipe tastes a lot like feta cheese does but is perfectly balanced by the sesame seeds and honey.

How to make air fryer sesame crusted feta
- Cut a block of feta cheese into 12 small squares.
- Whisk eggs in a bowl and drop the feta into egg mixture, turning over until each piece is thoroughly coated.
- On a plate, mix together black and white sesame seeds so they’re evenly dispersed.
- Cover each side of the feta cube entirely with a mixture of black and white sesame seeds.
- Place the sesame coated cubes in an
air fryer and set at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes, or until lightly browned. - Serve with hot honey and pita chips, and enjoy!

- 16 oz feta cheese block
- 3 tbsp white sesame seeds
- 3 tbsp black sesame seeds
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp hot honey
Instructions

I made the Air Fried Sesame Coated Feta appetizers. Really tasty and family loved them along side other appetizer dinner. Be sure to spray air fryer basket/tray with canola oil to help prevent sticking. Very good and different with the “hot honey drizzle”.
