What makes our cheesy garlic knots stand out

There are many things that make our cheesy garlic knots the absolute best. For instance, the fact that they are double baked helps to achieve the most amazing texture. They are also slathered in marinara sauce, baked in cheese, and drenched in danish creamery butter.

Using Danish Creamery  butter makes this recipe extra yummy. Inspired by traditional Danish butter, Danish Creamery’s recipe hasn’t changed since 1895.

It is made with pure sweet cream and sea salt and churned to perfection in the classic Danish way. Because of that, Danish Creamery butter is richer and creamier than any other butter. The extra time and care put into making Danish Creamery butter is what makes this extra delicious.

All of these components make for a standout recipe that can be served on its own or with some of our favorite dinner recipes.

What to serve with our cheesy garlic knots

These cheesy garlic knots are a great appetizer all on their own. They are baked twice – once on their own and the second time in a delicious blend of garlic, danish creamery butter, parsley and marinara. As a result, these bread bites don’t need a dipping sauce!

While they are great as is, these cheesy garlic knots can also work as a side dish to these amazing dinner recipes we have here at Food Dolls:

How to make cheesy garlic knots

  1. Thaw the frozen dinner rolls. This will usually take about 2-3 hours.
  2. Portion out the dinner rolls, and roll them in your hands into 6 inch tubes. Make knots with the dough, and place them on a baking sheet. Bake the knots for 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees.
  3. When cooked, remove them from the oven and let them cool.
  4. Place all of the dough knots in a large mixing bowl and toss them with melted butter, parsley and garlic. Thoroughly mix all of the ingredients together so that the dough balls are slathered in butter. (You can definitely eat them just like this as garlic knots!)
  5. Transfer the bread bites to an oven-safe baking dish.
  6. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  7. Top with marinara sauce, shredded mozzarella cheese and bake for another 15 minutes, or until the cheese is slightly brown and bubbling.
  8. Remove from the oven and serve hot!
