Alia Elkaffas
Co-Founder of Food Dolls & New York Times Best-Selling Author
Alia Elkaffas is one half of the sister duo behind Food Dolls, which she runs side by side with her sister, Radwa. Born and raised in Minnesota to Egyptian parents, Alia grew up surrounded by food—but cooking wasn’t exactly calling her name. Fashion, travel, and a great outfit were much more her speed. The kitchen came later, after marriage, three boys, and the realization that food could be creative, flexible, and actually fit into real life (without spending all day making it).
Together with Radwa, Alia develops approachable, flavor-forward recipes designed to free up time and bring a little joy to everyday cooking. She’s also the co-author of Pretty Delicious, a celebration of beautiful, fuss-free food that perfectly reflects the sisters’ shared style and philosophy. When she’s not in the kitchen, Alia is squeezing in a workout, living her best black-and-white wardrobe life, planning her next trip, and—most importantly—making sure cookies are always on the table!
