Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 pound steak flank, skirt, or sirloin, cut into bite-sized strips (against the grain)
  • 2 Tablespoons cornstarch
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Instructions

Marinate the Steak:

  • In a bowl, toss steak strips with cornstarch, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
1 pound steak, 2 Tablespoons cornstarch, ½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Let it sit for 10–15 minutes to absorb and tenderize.

Add Everything Together:

  • Add broccoli florets, olive oil, and sesame oil directly into the bowl with the marinated steak.
2 cups broccoli florets, 1 Tablespoon olive oil, 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Toss everything together until well combined and evenly coated.

Air Fry:

  • Preheat air fryer to 390°F (200°C).
  • Spread the steak and broccoli mixture in a single layer in the air fryer basket (work in two batches if needed).
  • Air fry for 10–12 minutes, shaking halfway through, until the steak is cooked through and broccoli is slightly charred and crispy at the edges.

Serve:

  • Enjoy as is, or serve over rice, noodles, or a salad. Optional toppings: chili crisp, sesame seeds, or a splash of soy sauce.
