Ingredients

  • 1 pound dry penne noodles
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 Tablespoon oregano
  • 1 Tablespoon fresh basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 4 cups broth
  • 3 cups spinach

Instructions

  • Heat a large pot or dutch oven on the stove.
  • Add the penne, tomatoes, onion, seasonings, garlic, and marinara on medium high heat.
  • Pour the broth on top.
  • Bring to a boil, cover the pot, and reduce the heat and cook for 10-12 minutes or until the pasta is al dente.
  • Stir in the spinach.
  • Serve immediately.
