Skillet French Toast

This French Toast recipe is so easy, and very decadent!

  • 1 Loaf Texas Toast
  • 8 Eggs
  • 2 cups Whole Milk
  • 1 cup Half and Half
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt

Caramel Sauce

  • 1 stick Butter Unsalted
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar Dark or Light
  • 3 tbsp Corn Syrup


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    Whisk together eggs, milk, half & half, vanilla extract and salt. 
    Cut the Texas toast into 1 inch squares and place into a 10-inch skillet.
    Pour egg mixture over bread pieces.
    Refrigerate overnight to allow bread pieces to soak.
    In a small saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar and corn syrup, heat until bubbling. 
    Pour over bread and egg mixture.
    Bake for 40 minutes. Dust powdered sugar or enjoy with syrup.
