  • 2 tablespoons softened unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar light or dark
  • 2 sheets graham crackers crushed
  • 4 slices bread
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter creamy
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows or regular marshmallow cut in half horizontally*
  • 1 large milk chocolate bar
  • pinch of salt

  • Preheat the broiler of the oven.
  • In a small bowl, stir together the butter, brown sugar and salt until well combined.
  • Spread mixture on bread
  • Place the graham crackers in a shallow plate, then dunk the buttered bread into crumbs, press firmly.
  • Meanwhile, heat a large oven-safe, non-stick skillet over medium heat, then arrange the bread, crumbed side down, on it.
  • Toast the bread until fragrant and golden brown
  • Spread peanut butter on 2 slices of bread.
  • Remove from heat and take away two of the bread slices from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
  • Arrange ½ cup marshmallows over the peanut butter.
  • Place the skillet in the oven under the broiler until the marshmallows have browned and puffed up.
  • Remove from the oven. Immediately top the marshmallows on each bread slice with half of the chocolate bar (about 6 squares each, more or less depending on taste).
  • Put the skillet back in the oven, until the chocolate starts to melt. About 1 minute.
  • Remove from the oven. Top with bread that was set aside.
  • Cut in half and serve while still warm.
