
Ingredients
- 2 cups dry elbow macaroni
- 1/3 rd cup butter
- 1/4 th cup flour
- 1 1/2 cups low-fat milk warmed
- 1 cup Old Home Foods plain Greek Yogurt
- 1 tsp kosher salt or to taste
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1 cup cheddar cheese or Colby Jack shredded and divided
- 1/2 cup Gouda cheese shredded
Instructions
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions, make sure to cook it al-dente. In a medium sauce pan over medium-high heat, add the butter. Once melted, whisk in the flour. Cook 1 minute, whisking until it is bubbly. Slowly stir in the milk. Whisk until it thickens. Remove from heat and whisk in the shredded cheeses, salt, pepper, garlic salt and paprika. Stir until cheese is melted. Add the cooked noodles and Greek yogurt. Feel free add an extra splash of milk if you don’t like it as thick. *extra cheese on top is optional! Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes.
