Halloween Squid Ink Spaghetti Bread Bowl Recipe

- 1 loaf sourdough or ciabatta bread
- 6 oz black squid ink spaghetti cooked al-dente
- 16 oz prepared bolognese sauce or marinara
- 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 2 fresh Mozzarella cheese balls
- 1 sheet of puff pastry slight thawed
- 2 sliced and pitted black olives
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Cook the pasta according to package instructions, and set aside.
Slice the top off the bread loaf. Then, hollow out the center, leaving 1/2 inch of bread all around.
Spread half of the bolognese sauce in the bottom of the bread bowl followed by the pasta and shredded Mozzarella cheese.
Cut the puff pastry into 1/4 inch strips, and arrange them in a criss-cross pattern on top of the cheese. Add the Mozarella balls to the top of the opening. Then, carefully place one olive on top of each ball of cheese. (See photos.)
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the bread is golden bread and cheese is melted.
