One Pot Lasagna Pasta Recipe

Made with all the classci flavor you love, this one pot lasagna requires 1/2 the work and is ready in less than 20 minutes!

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ small onion chopped
  • 16 ounces lasagnette rice pasta or similar shape uncooked
  • 16 ounces marinara sauce
  • 4 Tablespoons garlic minced
  • 2 teaspoons salt + more or less to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 cups water or broth
  • 8 ounces whole milk ricotta
  • 1 cup low-moisture mozzarella cheese
  • Optional: Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  • In a large pot over medium heat, add the ground beef and onion. Cook 1-2 minutes or until browned, breaking into pieces. Drain the excess liquid.

  • Add the pasta, marinara sauce, garlic, salt, pepper, and water (or broth) to the pot. Stir to combine.
    16 ounces lasagnette rice pasta or similar shape, 16 ounces marinara sauce, 4 Tablespoons garlic, 2 teaspoons salt + more or less to taste, 1 teaspoon black pepper, 4 cups water or broth
  • Increase the heat to medium-high, bringing the mixture to a boil. Cover, and simmer 11-13 minutes or until the pasta is al dente.
  • Add the ricotta and Mozzarella. Stir to combine.
    8 ounces whole milk ricotta, 1 cup low-moisture mozzarella cheese
  • Serve warm topped with Parmesan cheese, if desired!
    Optional: Parmesan cheese for serving
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.

You can definitely play around with this recipe and some add ins! Some suggestions: diced peppers, onions, basil, oregano, Italian herbs!
