Spaghetti Bread Bowl Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 large round Sourdough Bread
  • 2 cups marinara sauce, divided
  • 2 cups spaghetti noodles, cooked
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 1/2 cup Fresh mozzarella cheese
  • 1 Tablespoons butter or olive oil, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, freshly grated

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Using a large serrated knife, slice off the top of the bread loaf. Hollow out the inside, leaving 1/2 inch of bread all around the edges of the bowl.

  • Add 1/2 of the marinara sauce to the bottom of the bread bowl followed by the noodles. Spread the remaining sauce on top, and sprinkle the Parmesan and Mozzarella over it.
    2 cups spaghetti noodles, cooked, 2 cups marinara sauce,, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated, 1/2 cup Fresh mozzarella cheese
  • In a small bowl, whisk the melted butter and seasonigns togtehr.
    1 Tablespoons butter or olive oil, melted, 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning, 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, freshly grated
  • Place the top of the bread loaf back on, and brush the outside of the bread with the butter mixture. Cover the spaghetti bread bowl with foil, and transfer it to the oven. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the bread is lightly golden.
