Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Brush a 13x18 baking sheet with olive oil. Set aside.
  • Place the frozen dinner rolls 3 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet. Cover with saran wrap, and place in a warm, dry place for 3-4 hours or until the rolls have doubled in size.

  • In the meantime, combine the za’atar seasoning and olive oil in a small bowl, whisking until smooth.
⅓ cup za’atar seasoning, ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • Using fingers, gently pat down the dinner rolls just until they are spread out. Be careful not to flatten them too much!
  • Brush 1 tablespoon of the za’atar mixture on top of each roll, covering the surface completely.
  • Place the dough on the greased baking sheet 2 inches apart.
  • Bake 15-18 minutes or until the edges are beginning to turn golden brown.
  • Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days or in the fridge for up to 1 week.
