Slow Cooker Roasted Olives

Cooked with warm spices in the slow cooker, these roasted olives are perfect snacking on their own or topping all your favorite dips!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup kalamata olives, pitted
  • 1 cup green olives, pitted
  • 6 cloves peeled garlic
  • 1 sprig thyme
  • 1 sprig oregano
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 Tablespoon crushed red pepper to taste
  • 3/4 cup olive oil
  • zaatar for garnish

Instructions

  • Add kalamata olives, green olives, garlic, herbs, lemon slices, crushed red pepper, and olive oil to the slow cooker.
    1 cup kalamata olives, pitted, 1 cup green olives, pitted, 1 lemon, sliced, 1 Tablespoon crushed red pepper, 1 sprig thyme, 1 sprig oregano, 1 sprig rosemary, 3/4 cup olive oil, 6 cloves peeled garlic
  • Toss to combine.
  • Set on low for 2.5 hours.
  • Serve warm over hummus and garnish with the herbed olive oil, and zaatar seasoning.
