Beef Kofta Meatballs

This kofta is flavorful, spicy, and so simple to make! Make this in the air fryer or bake in the oven for a simple kofta recipe!

  • 1 pound 85% lean ground beef
  • 1/2 medium grated white onion
  • 1 chopped jalapeño seeded for less spice
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup plain dried bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup fresh chopped mint
  • 1 Tablespoon garam masala powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Add ground beef, grated onion, jalapeño, egg, bread crumbs, cilantro, mint, garam masala powder, salt and pepper and to a large bowl.
    1 pound 85% lean ground beef, 1/2 medium grated white onion, 1 chopped jalapeño, 1 egg, 1/4 cup plain dried bread crumbs, 1/2 cup chopped cilantro, 1/4 cup fresh chopped mint, 1 Tablespoon garam masala powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Mix ingredients together until everything is incorporated. 
  • Using a small ice cream scoop, shape into meatballs or use about 2 tablespoons of beef mixture.
  • Spray air fryer and place meatballs inside in a single layer. 
  • Set air fryer to 375 degrees F for 8-10 minutes. 
  • Baking: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until cooked through.
