Cookies 'n Cream Pastry Braid

  • 1 frozen puff pastry
  • 1 large chocolate bar
  • 8 Oreo cookies
  • 1 egg
  • Icing


  • Thaw dough according to package instructions.
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Unroll thawed dough and place the chocolate bar in the center.
  • Make cuts along the edges of the dough on each side. Approx 6-8 strips.
  • Remove the cream center of the Oreos and place over the chocolate.
  • Fold the top and the bottom ends over the chocolate, then cross the side strips over each other to make the braid.
  • Beat egg and brush over the pastry.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until top is golden brown.
  • Crush the Oreo cookies.
  • Top with icing and crushed Oreos.
  • Eat warm while chocolate is gooey!
