Cookies ‘n Cream Pastry Braid

Ingredients
- 1 frozen puff pastry
- 1 large chocolate bar
- 8 Oreo cookies
- 1 egg
- Icing
Instructions
- Thaw dough according to package instructions.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Unroll thawed dough and place the chocolate bar in the center.
- Make cuts along the edges of the dough on each side. Approx 6-8 strips.
- Remove the cream center of the Oreos and place over the chocolate.
- Fold the top and the bottom ends over the chocolate, then cross the side strips over each other to make the braid.
- Beat egg and brush over the pastry.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until top is golden brown.
- Crush the Oreo cookies.
- Top with icing and crushed Oreos.
- Eat warm while chocolate is gooey!
