Chocolate Hazelnut Kefirscicles

  • 1.5 cups plain Lifeway kefir
  • 1/2 cup organic hazelnut spread
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 large banana
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp hazelnut extractChocolate Coating
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil


  • Blend all ingredients together thoroughly. *Taste the mixture and add more maple syrup if you would like it sweeter.
  • Pour the mixture into popsicle molds. Freeze 4-6 hours.
  • Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Give it a stir and continue to microwave in 30 second increments, stirring in between each time until completely melted.
  • Remove the ice cream from the mold and dip into the chocolate coating. Freeze for a few minutes until chocolate hardens.
