Health benefits of almonds

Almonds are an incredibly healthy tree nut, filled with nutrients like calcium and phosphorus. Both of those promote bone strength and density.

Plus, almonds have dietary fiber and several vitamins, making them tiny but powerful vehicles for overall health. That’s why we love adding them to this recipe!

What equipment do you need to make Almond Joy Dates

This is a super simple recipe that you can make in an air fryer incredibly easily. We love cooking with air fryers because they lead to super crisp, well-cooked food that’s far less greasy than a traditional fryer. Air fryers are essentially portable convection ovens that cook food by circulating hot air around a basket.

These Almond Joy Dates only need a few minutes in the fryer to be perfectly delectable. And if you don’t have an air fryer, you can make them by baking them in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes.

How to make Almond Joy Dates

  1. Split dates and remove seeds, being careful not to split them all the way through.
  2. Spread about 2 tsp of creamy almond butter inside.
  3. Top with 2-3 almonds and chocolate chips.
  4. Set the air fryer at 380 degrees Fahrenheit. for 3-4 minutes or just until chocolate is melted.
  5. Top with shredded coconut flakes.
  6. Let cool for a minute before digging into these Almond Joy dates!
