Air Fryer Chicken Parmesan

This chicken is so easy, it will be your new favorite way to eat your chicken parmesan! We used this Ninja Foodi Smart XL Grill!

Equipment

  • Ninja Foodi Smart XL Grill

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts pounded thin
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 eggs lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup Italian crumbs
  • 1/4 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3/4 cup marinara sauce

Broccoli

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp Italian herbs

Instructions

  • In three different dishes add flour, paprika, and garlic powder in the first, eggs in the second and in the third combine both breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese.
  • Season the chicken with salt, and pepper. Dip chicken in the flour mixture, making sure to shake the excess flour. Dip in the eggs, and finally coat in the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Drizzle the breaded chicken with olive oil or use olive oil spray. Add 4 cutlets into the air fryer basket.
  • Cook on 350 degrees F for 8 minutes.
  • Spread approximately two tablespoons marinara sauce on each chicken breast. Top with shredded cheese.
  • Cook at 400 degrees F. for an additional 4 minutes or until cooked through.

Broccoli

  • In a large mixing bowl add all your ingredients. Mix well until everything is coated. Place in the air fryer at 380 degrees F. for 12 minutes.
