Stuffed Snickerdoodle Skillet Cookie

Recipe:

1 package snickerdoodle mix, we used Betty Crocker (includes a cinnamon sugar packet)

1 egg

1 tablespoon water

1/2 cup melted butter

1/2 cup of your favorite caramel sauce

3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl add the cookie mix, egg, water, and butter. Beat until combined.

Place half the dough in a 10-12 inch skillet. Sprinkle with some cinnamon sugar. Spread the caramel and chocolate chips. Top with remaining cookie dough. Sprinkle more cinnamon sugar. Bake for 40-45 minutes. If the top is starting to brown to early, cover loosely with aluminum foil.

*tip: you can add as little or as much caramel and/or chocolate as you like. Keep in mind the more you add the more time it will need in the oven. If you add less you can reduce the baking time.
