Deep Fried Cookie Dough Ice Cream


1/2 cup edible cookie dough

1 large scoop of your favorite ice cream

1 cup crushed oreos

1 egg, beaten

whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and a cherry for garnish.


Spread the cookie dough on a plate. Add the scoop of ice cream to the middle. Make sure ice cream is covered well. If it is starting to melt, cover with plastic wrap and freeze for 1 hour.  Dip the cookie dough in the crushed oreos, then into the beaten egg. Dip one more time into the crushed oreos. Freeze for 2 hours or overnight. Fry at 375 degrees for 3-4 minutes on each side.
