Chocolate Hazelnut Kefirscicles


1.5 cups plain Lifeway kefir
1/2 cup organic hazelnut spread
1/3 cup maple syrup
1 large banana
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 tsp hazelnut extractChocolate Coating
1 cup dark chocolate chips
1 tablespoon coconut oil
  1. Blend all ingredients together thoroughly. *Taste the mixture and add more maple syrup if you would like it sweeter.
  2. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds. Freeze 4-6 hours.
  3. Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Give it a stir and continue to microwave in 30 second increments, stirring in between each time until completely melted.
  4. Remove the ice cream from the mold and dip into the chocolate coating. Freeze for a few minutes until chocolate hardens.
